This machine is a excellent startup machine with automatic ground balance, Switch on and go machine.... It has a large VDI (code) display which entitles you to swing freely and still be able to see what signals the machine is getting instead of most entry level machines with only a tone or tiny black dot jumping on the screen almost invisible. It has a four tone system to what the normal entry level only has a 3 tone.
4 Tone System:
Low tone : Nails, iron objects, and smallest gold objects
Low mid tone: Pull tabs, Nickels and smaller gold
Medium Tone: Zinc Pennies, Larger gold objects
Hight Tone: Copper, Silver and Brass with copper pennys
It is very light weight machine which helps especially when you are detecting for long periods there is no arm ache or back ache of heavy machines.......Detecting has never been so easy with this user friendly machine. Its also a very fast recovery machine, the refreshrate is immaculately fast if you have two objects next to each other you will definately not miss one.
Just by learning your vdi codes you can automatically have great ease in mind with wysiwug (what you see is what you get) - I have attached some pictures to view, The large double digit code in the middle is the vdi: Below is a list of what the codes mean and how easy it is to actually discriminate yourself from what signals you are getting.
Typical Value Possible Obects
0 - 15 : Iron
15 - 28 : Pull tabs
28 - 32 : Nickel
32 - 45 : Old pull tab / gold
45 - 62 : R5,zinc, pennys

I have been hunting with pickers in the bush, in the parks, dry sand and wet sand and even in the water with full sensativity. Make no mistake this machine runs like the wind. We have even done some tests in burying R1's in the deep wet sand next to the water and finds it easily 5inches plus( 12cm - 15cm) on full sensativity
My reason for selling is i would like to upgrade, i would love to keep this as a spare but for the moment one is more than enough.
Only serious buyers of course wanting R2500 normall retail value around R3800 - 4000.
