made myself a smaller coil about 9cm everyone said it would not be efective but it strikes those coins in depths of 12cm to16cm found one coin from namibia a 5c old 2c coins and 1c coins all in my own yard used ny detector i bought it did not even give me any signals but the home made ons did and a lot of them
