Well Boys and Girls

Tomorrow is luch in the veld Saturday again with Boerewors Rolls and cold ones on the agenda. See you all there who ever comes in or through.

We have gon through the area with the exception of the obvious Ash pits and will be starting the area re-hunt as from this weekend. I believe that trash will be plentyfull with good finds much harder and less to find than the 1st sweep but hopefully our Lady will keep on delivering.

We will meet up in the centre field at the tall trees where the 1st Group Hunt started and work the area through from there. I should be in the field from about 08:00 to 08:30

See ya there..........

Hi Guys
Joined the hunt today at the Lady and it was nice to meet the guys finally. Thanks James for making me feel welcome. Unfortunately did not find any coins but I am sure they are out there.
I do it the metal detecter way - swing it around like I just don't care.

Most of it yes Paul except the ash pit areas. Some areas we have done 3 times already but coins still keep coming out

Hi Kobus

I only keep count / data of coins recovered pre-1965. Anything from 1965 to current I do not keep score of as I considder them to be modern. Thus far I have 282 coins in the era pre-1965 ;)
