A button with"Suspender" etched into it.
Dent's spring button - crazy motif. looks like a chopper sling around a ram.

Hi Tony,

Sorry for the late reply.

That wavy thing was best left underground. I am stumped.

This area yields casings from three wars, Anglo Boer War, WW1, and WW2.
Coins as far back as 1862 from Portugal, France Britain and The Union.
Badges and buttons from The Union of South Africa, Canada, America.
Spoons, forks but no knives.
Casings neatly closed without damaging the tops - have a theory there.
I found lead all over the place.
Old costume jewellery.
Lots of female stuff (brassiere clips and stocking adjusters)
The odd valuable jewellery.
Lots and lots of harmonica reeds.
Three legged pots (parts of it)
Fly buttons galore.
Musket balls.

My theory is that this area was a type of staging area during all three wars. Chuck in some diamond diggers and Bob's your Uncle.

This is what I observed on the farm - are there any correlations with your hunting area.
What is your view on this?
What do you find the most?
Many happy hunts.
