Before I had my metal detector I at that stage joined http://metaldetectorsa.co.za/. I only found this site the other day and found that there is much more people in Pta doing the digging thing. I did a whole lot of research, while I was still dreaming of buying my Garret, of a lot of historical sites in and around Pta. Let us know when you get you detector so we can plan a hunt.
