Dropped a mail to Roodepoort Angling Club. City parks is useless(so far). I sen't them three requests now on differant areas and got no response.

The club's not sure if you'd even need permission. I guess this implies detecting the public area and using common sense.
Still would be nice to have something to fall back on should someone decide to soil their pants when they see you dig a hole. I think klapping somone who leaves a hole open should make up for it.

Best thing could be to avoid complaints and do something "visually" positive while you are at it, like cleaning up trash or something. People with i-pads are really trigger happy these days.
