Hallmark Identification

Hi Guys, found a ring yesterday with a Hallmark "SIL" that I have not come accross before. I take it that means it's silver as the ring seams pretty decent. Anyone have info on this mark?

Would definitely imagine its a silver stamp. No idea if its 925 or what the percentage would be. Nice find though

Its silver. The SIL stands for silver. It is probably less of a percentage than 92.5% (or 925). Sometimes you will see a stamp called STER. That stands for sterling, or 925 silver
