Now that Mine lab have launched a truly made beach metal detector, with beach mode, it is a world class unit. Coming out after the MX sport, a true beach detector as well.
Garret have only claimed that the AT max is more "stable" on the beach, but wont commit them selves to it being a
salt water detector. I am on the market for a second good salt water detector other than a Pulse induction unit with out true discrimination.
The new equinox seams to tick all the boxes. Garret beach tested the AT max, there where good remarks, like it is more stable than the Pro.
What are your thoughts on the new Equinox?
Then price. It worries me that on arrival in SA, the price will be extremely high as was the ATX 3030, when it came out, now 22k cheaper in SA.
I just had a quotation from overseas to get one here based on the budgetary figures to get all the costs to take into account, the overseas price at our current exchange rate is fordable
and with in reach to people out there. Lets see what our dealers come up with. To me so far the tests out there are impressive, That is my opinion and not any other comments made on the web.
