Playing with kydex

Been messing a round with kydex ,a thermo formable plastic used in the car industry and decided to make up a sheath for my digging knife and pinpointer..
Where is that five Shilling???

Its fantastic stuff ,you could wear it upside down and the fit is so neat that the knife will stay put!....gonna make a spade sheath for the digger 5000 next!

Practical solution from a practical guy, looks good Tony.
I recently got my hands on a Garrett Retriever 2 hand pick and must still find a convenient way of carrying it. It has a mean point and sharp corners.
My favourite pastime is walking on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.

How did you make the sheath for the pinpointer and attach it to the digger sheath?

That was machined on a lathe and milling machine and was simpll attached with self tappers .I had made the pinpointer sheath a while back and so decided to re use it .You could however incoporate both tools in the kydex sheath you just have to load the mould fast ! As the hot kydex cools rapidly
