Have anyone seen these detectors from OKM.

Check out this website and please give your feedback and views on these detectors.

The bionic X4 apparently can even scan for gold long range. I have downloaded the catalog of detectors and if true they look like real treasure hunting equipment at its best.

Just think. Technology is changing and getting better all the time. A few years ago you did not even think of having a hand held device that could scan a piece of metal and give us exactly how much of each metal content. Its the x-ray metal analyzer and is now being used all over the world to check the silver, copper and gold content of any piece of metal in a few seconds. Just think if this machine gets more advanced to scan a area and give you exact location of gold and location in 3d where its buried even showing the amount in oz.

This will allow us to maybe locate hidden treasure like the Kruger millions or the gold pounds buried outside Heidelberg in the boer war.

Now this OKM detectors might be fake or even the real deal. Who really knows. I see they even have a branch selling them in UAE (Dubai). The Germans might have found the ability to scan for gold long range. Everyone were thinking X-Ray analyzers were fake but it turned out to be the real deal. Some people still think metal detectors cant even pick up gold but we are finding it. It only takes one guy to get one of these detectors and finding a big treasure and every one of us will follow.

I am skeptical of all these types of devices. If there was something that made it so easy to find gold, then everyone would have it already

Here is the direct link to the catalog of detectors. I am stunned. I am also skeptical but maybe its the real deal. I wish i could test some of this equipment.

On E-bay prices range from R150,000.00 to R400,000.00 for some of these OKM detectors. Now the question. Do they really work for spending such a lot of money. This might be for the richest treasure hunters only.

I've always thought they were legit because some of their products are listed on Kellyco like GPRs but... checking the page and reading about the "Bionic X4" which uses "ions" and "bio-energy" I'm detecting a whiff of Bullsh1t!

After reading about the bionic X4 using bio energy. I am also thinking scam.

But Bio Energy is just like dowsing sticks. In America and Alaska they still believe that Dowsing for gold really works. But in reality its all just make believe.
That might be the reason behind the Bionic X4. Might be a big seller in America for believers in dowsing for gold.

But the Evolution, EPX 4000 and 5000 looks like it could really work. Its the same principal as the ground penetrating radar that they use thats fitted on a tri wheel frame. They just converted it to a hand held metal detector type frame.

Ground penetrating radar is real and being used all over the world to locate underground structures for archaeological diggings. Technology on ground penetrating radar is getting more advanced every year just like cell phones. Ground penetrating radar is already able to discriminate between ferrous and non ferrous metals.

I believe that our standard metal detectors are slowly going to be replaced by newer technology like the hand held ground penetrating radars. X-Ray machines might also be converted in the future to scan an area of ground and give exact amounts of metals contained in that section of ground and display the location of these metals.

You are right in a sense Mr. Sander, the military already has PI combined with GPRS detectors and is used very successfully in anti-mining apps.
These units are heavy (obviously) and you can have a look under "HSTAMIDS"

These detectors, and the technology that they use, are never going to be cheap enough for your average hobbyist to afford

Fully agree with you Paul..
While on the subject, let's think out-the-box a bit...
Military and counter terrorism have for years used "bio-detectors".
Rats have been extremely successful in Cambodia in sniffing-out mines that detectors cannot find (low/non-metalic mines).
CT forces have demonstrated that honey bees are 100's if not 1000's of times more sensitive in detecting explosives and also way quicker than traditional ion-scan methods...they can do a complete warehouse in couple of minutes...
myself have seen a dog on the beach that only digs-out rusted iron bits, sometimes at depth 200 - 300mm...now...
My question to you Sirs: Why would it not be possible to train a rat or dog to sniff-out certain metals???
Makes you think.......

I did try to train my dog to sniff out gold once. Ended up digging up my yard with no gold. Maybe he found some and swallowed it. LOL
