I have been wanting to get an action camera for a while to do some YouTube videos. I managed to get a nice Rayne Action camera the other day for a decent price. I know a few people who have them and the quality is great.

I also got all the accessories that I need to clip it onto my cap. If I leave it in the waterproof housing, sound is too muffled to hear. Hopefully I will be able to use it soon, but I am as sick as a dog at the moment with flu. It always starts on a weekend doesn't it?

Does anyone have any advice on what video editing software I should use? I was just going to use Windows movie Maker. My hunt videos will probably be terrible, but we'll see

So I shot some video over the weekend, but am now struggling with finding editing software to actually work with the clips. The clips are in .mov format, and some programs don't like that

Hai paul I dont know if you know that with your videos you are able to make money via youtube I have made in the last 3months aprox 800 thats with only a few views I have also bought me a camera and will do full videos some time but the most important thing is to get your videos ranked if you do a search on youtube with this keyword Pi home made metal detector you will see my video 1st or 2nd the more views you get the more money you can earn and this money can be set aside for new detectors or something

LOL. I am sure there will be more gymnastics forthcoming. The battery had run dead when he performed for me, so unfortunately I didn't get it.

I have now sorted out the software issue. I am using gopro studio. Hopefully in a day or so I will have something to show you guys
