Hi all

A few weeks ago, Jonty found these items in the Botanical gardens. Please could those experts out there help me to ID them. One is a military button, the other looks like a belt buckle type thing, and I think the third is a tag from a plant (but I am not sure).

Very cool finds.....the crown on the button and the square thingy in the in the first pic are from Queen Victoria's Reign...so probably 2nd Boer war...

That st Christopher may well be made from silver, it has that pink purple patina to it..

No, it is definitely brass or something like it. I am not sure why it looks a little silver, but I think it is because I tried to clean it there a lot to read the writing

Nursery rose tag ?

I thought it was a plant tag,  due to it being in the Botanical Gardens, but when I did a quick google I didn't find it. I obviously didn't google enough. Thanks so much

Button seems to be a British General Service Button. Nice finds and well done.
