I cant believe this came out of three hunts Wilhelm , but im a bit crazy so every hut was about 13 hours long ......

LOL....The tough bit is finding an area that hasn't been messed with, most of the mining area has been turned upside down over the years and the flat bits that are left have been turned into dumps!!.....You found some nice finds there,were they all from the same area?

Hi Alf , all the shells exept the two big ones is Lee Enfield .303 casings , the two bigger ones is Martini Henry shells , only found 5 of them in the two years if been detecting ,

Last year i found about 13 live .303 Enfield round in the Pretoria and Lenesia areas.

Hi Tony , i have tried most places in Benoni , its a hole lot of work for very very little finds with all the junk , .........  and the finds in the picture is over the last 3 hunts , most of the .303 shells and bullet tips is from Krugersdorp , think it may have been a training camp for the brits , also got the one Martini Hendry there , and all the mini ball rounds , the other interesting bits and pieces i found in pretoria on the magaliesberg at signal hill , its been heavily hunted over the years and i got the left overs from the more difucult to reatch areas it seems.
