Small sluice boxes...

  • on: March 13, 2015, 06:14 AM
Do you guys think i should also manufacture small or mini sluice boxes? If so, what price would the gold hunters out there like to pay for such a sluice box? R1995.00?
This price could work for a unit about 600mm long...
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach that person to use a metal detector and they won't bother you for weeks.

With all the strict laws and nonsense in S.A., who would you sell to Tommy?

You will be surprised. Check my site http://www.bushadventure.co.za/prospecting-tools.html
At the bottom I have a url counter that counts unique clicks only. 165 since the 8th of March this year. I have also sold quite a bit of sluices, high bankers, panning pans, miner's moss, scales etc...
It's not easy to get a license if you are white. I'm not racist but that is how it is and you can only do so online through the DMR. This is a huge challenge on it's own can costs a fortune! R700 000.00 + for a mining license.
Most of the guys who guys from me mine on their own land and farms or farms that they rent. They then smelt it down into coins that they stamp or they make crude jewelery from it as you can sell these items. It is highly illegal but that is what they are doing. It is not illegal for me to sell the goods though.
Then, if you are in Mpumalanga, then i can get you mining permit. It costs you nothing, but then me and my partners get most of the gold. You only get 30% but we get the paper work and permit fees sorted and supply all the machinery. It is a very small open cast operation and needs two guys to operate the plant. The one guy is the person who let's us work his land and the other is me or one of my two partners. If you bring a friend to help you, then you need to split your side of the profit with him.
We will sell the gold and all guys involved must take a lie detector test once every two weeks to ensure that no one is stealing. If caught steeling or giving confidential info to other guys, then you are out.

I know this is not what you asked, but I gave you all the info anyway:)
Please do not use the information I gave here to do illegal mining. If you are caught, you will go to prison. Steeling government minerals is the worst offense you can commit in SA. You will lose everything you own (even your clothes will be confiscated) and 'sit' for no less that 25 years guaranteed!
