Do you have to be logged on to Facebook to see the page.  I don't have a Facebook account and won't ever get one

Hi Paul. Unfortunatly you need to have a facebook account. We will however start a web site soon for the people not connected to facebook. I will let you know once the web site is up and running.

Just a Heads up Hannes-Just watch out, a week or so back there was a archaeologist that joined one of the relic groups and gave them hell!  They had to close down as their was threats they were going to take action against them.  The club no longer exists due to this matter - i personally would not advertise this as it will draw more attention and eyes onto you relic guys, just my 2c

Af far as I know anything from the past is history as long you don't hunt in front of the museum or trespassing .You can ask permission to hunt any place you would like to hunt no problems .Good luck

There we go...There is more than one archeologist that is following us all weather its on forums or facebook groups.  They not so worried about the avarage button or horse shoe found but as soon as it comes to real ABW  goods they tend to jump up and down and as Tony says claim they own the world and they as archeologists have the right on everything.   There was some great dispute going even when people had asked permission of legal owner they still felt it was a threat....threat i dont know why but thats just how things roll....

Best would be is if you do your thing try keep it that just you know about it or just stays in a group and dont advertise it out loudly - little while back there was a terrible news paper article about us all digging and got into very bad light also by another archeologist if we dont watch out what we do and how we advertise ourselves and finds laws might just become stricter and boards will soon come up "no detecting" it happend overseas it can happen here to i guess not that there is bigger fish to fry in this country no one will know for sure what will and what not but rather safe than sorry!

Happy Hunting and dont let this get you down Hannes Just go in Silence and do that "digging thing" you like most :)
