What is this??

  • on: November 27, 2014, 12:34 PM
My son-in-law found this the other day, and neither of us have a clue what it could be. Is it a pendant, some sort of jewellery etc.?? It looks to be made out of brass or copper

Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks
Paul

Are those 2 pieces that are folded over supposed to be like that? To me it looks like they should be straight.

I know....but they are welded/soldered on like that, so I don't know. I also thought someone had just bent them. They are attached like that though

I think it was just used as a key ring/holder - or a piece of copper art maybe....

That hole on top makes me think it might have been attached to something, when it was new, polished and in pristine condition it must have looked quite smart... Maybe just a piece of old ornamental jewelry.
