Headstamp Identification

Hi to all. I dug out the casing this afternoon and Google is no help identifying it.  Should be ABW as all other casings in the area are from that era.

Hi Jaco - if that is a .303 casing and that is a "G" and not a "C" then the "GKB" stamp is from George Kynoch, Birmingham, UNITED KINGDOM.

The markings on the head is GKB, but the casing is bigger than  the .303.

The interesting story of the Kynoch factory http://www.staffshomeguard.co.uk/KOtherInformationKynochV2A.htm  Very interesting is that the founder George Kynoch died in South Africa........
