Headstamp Identification

Hi to all. I dug out the casing this afternoon and Google is no help identifying it.  Should be ABW as all other casings in the area are from that era.

Hi Jaco - if that is a .303 casing and that is a "G" and not a "C" then the "GKB" stamp is from George Kynoch, Birmingham, UNITED KINGDOM.

The markings on the head is GKB, but the casing is bigger than  the .303.

No kidding Jaco I found part of the same casing today and was just about to ask the same question?...thanks for clearing that up!

I do it the metal detecter way - swing it around like I just don't care.
