What's up , I'm Keagan , new to metal detecting , I saw a guy at homestead metal detecting wile I was fishing and that sparked my interest all over again , so the next day I bought an ace 250 for half price used once , deal right !? , and so IV been detecting now for 4 days strait and it's awesome , I've only got 4 coins to my name , would have a howl lot more if I had the right spade , all IV got are those stupid square shape spades and 4 inch isent worth the dig , wanted to know if someone's willing to show me the ropes sum time , and if any one has an old spade I can buy that's suited for the job

Sweet will do , I found an old 20 c at my mates place , most of my friends live on plats , I'm sorted for a wile ,their houses are 100 years plus old , the ground is blady hard though ,

All you got to do is take your square spade and cut it with a grinder to a nice size. Have a look at this thread
