hi skipper I only been at this hobby 6 months or so eh very addictive :) and am enjoying it lots started with an at pro for parks and the beach where I've picked up a couple of 925 silver rings,and lots of spendable $1 $2 doller coins in parks as well as pre decimals coins,penny's,florins,shillings etc,recently purchased the at gold and it's my no one machine atm it's awesome on coins,prob sell the pro soon and save for a really good beach machine.cheers

I also have the AT Gold, brilliant all rounder, I have the C Scope 6Pi for the beach good machine for shallow water work but not submersible, the Mine Lab Excalibur II is probably your best bet as its made in Ozz so service will not be an issue.
