I went to PTHS here in Pretoria in the late 80's early 90's. There was I science fare thing I took part in. The one teacher new I had built a home made MD which I still have. So they asked me to enter this fare this with my detector. The day I brought it to school I we to go show one of the other science teachers in the school. While showing it to her she asked me how it works, by asking me if it worked using infra - red?  For real and she was a science teacher. I never forgot that.

I didn't think I would get a smart Alec on my second day...I did.

I was on Peter Pan beach when this guy and his wife was setting up for the day close to where I was sweeping. He kept on making this beeping sound, annoying me, and I'm sure his wife too. Finally I just plucked off my headphones and told his wife:"I think there is something wrong with your husband's pacemaker, it keeps on going BLEEP!"

He didn't think it was funny, but she did.
