I have done some tests with the Nokta.  It comes with an 11" coil and a 5" coil.  The machine can go deep depending on how hot you want to run.  I did some dry beach tests and it is very accurate with identifying the target.  I see much less jumping around of numbers in comparison to my AT PRO.  What is quite niche is the small coil.  It is almost like have a powerful pin pointer in trashy areas.  I managed to step around lots of trash and get to brass, coins and silver (foil) without too much effort and the depth is still quite good.  Now I just need to find some good hunting grounds to see what it will bring in...... :)

Awesome Barney....all the best with the new machine!

Thanks Tony - I see you are also very impressed with your CTX. How did the wet beach performance of the CTX compare with the Sea Hunter?

Hey Barney....the ctx is a step beyond ...its as chilled as the sea hunter but you know what your digging....and that counts when your being bashed about by waves, the depth is incredible and it will find coins and rings standing on there end....this machine is worth its weight in gold. ......some ctx owners have found more gold in weight in one year than the machine weighs...

Good to have 1st hand local feedback on the ctx Mr Curnick, thank you Sah.....
been wanting to ask,,,the CTX, how easy/difficult is the technical part on the unit?
Meaning, is it a complicated machine to set-up and learn? Lot of adjustments each time?
