Hi All you hunters out there....
I'm from Pretoria and a total NOOB on the hunting scene.
The bug bit me when a colleauge at work came arround with his prefferd hunting tool. This got me hooked, so on 27 July 2013 I wend over the edge and procured my first ever (albeit entry level) Minelab X-terra 305 and have been hunting like it was nobody's business this weekend.
So far:
A buch of scrap mettal, bottle caps and pull rings.
At least mere interesting the following that really made our weekend:
A key with a pink stone key ring attached
A South African 2004 5 Cent
A 1897 Mauser cartridge with markings (18 DM 97 K)
Anyway, nice to meet you all. Happy Hunting. This weekend me an my family off to Middelburg MP for some exploring together with Big Brother. Will keep ya posted.
