New from Flanders in Belgium

  • on: March 14, 2014, 09:23 PM
Hi all  :),

You probably wonder why a 55 y/o Belgian metal detectorist joins a South African  metal detecting forum?
Well, I'm fascinated with the finds you guys make!

I'm metal detecting for the past 12 years, mainly in parks in my neighbourhood.
Maby you are interested to see what comes up in parks in this part of the world :D

I use a Minelab Advantage and the Garrett Pro Pointer.
Every Saturday I go out  for a 4 hours session (weather permits!)

Looking forward to contribute to your friendly forum!

Happy hunting,

Alain

Hi Flemish

Welcome to the Forum, It doesnt matter where you are from you are most certainly welcome here! :D

We as South Africans are again more interested in the finds of overseas since there is allot of more gold and silver spills and treasures that side than this side lol   But we will never know exactly what is buried under SA's Soil.....Maybe one day someone will be so lucky to dig the Gold Kruger Millions  ;D

Please feel free to share some of your finds from that side of the world , always interesting to see.
What doesnt kill you makes you stronger!
