I have many old "original" maps of SA for sale. The maps is area or town based and if offered at R500.00 per town and surrounding area. If you give me the town name or GPS co-ords, then I will e-mail you with a screen shot to show you what the map has to offer.
Most of these maps was photographed between 1906 and 1960.
The maps indicate old roads, buildings like old police stations, post offices, old building etc... i personally tested the accuracy and found it to be spot on. This would be great for treasure hunting.
Another very good feature would be the location of old mines. The maps indicate the mineral that was mined and in the case of gold, the mention aluvial and eluvial gold, leaders, out crops, rivers, etc...
Most roads are also indicated. Main roads and even footpaths well traveled back in the day.
I need to appeal to you personal honesty and request that all maps purchased are not made public as this is one of the means of me generating an income and these maps was very hard to come by.
