Title: Hello from Fish Hoek

Hi everyone, I joined just last week so its about time I stopped lurking and said hello.

I am new to the detecting game, I bought two C Scope detectors from a chap in JHB who had decided to stop digging holes in the High Veld, he is 82 and can't manage it anymore.
I have the CS6Pi which is a pulse induction machine, I use this just for beach hunting, and the CS2MX which is a VLF dual coil unit which is used for farms and park, relic and coin hunting, I'm still trying to get the hang of this detector but its slowly showing me its capabilities.
My main hunting areas are the beaches of the Cape Peninsular and I am looking for a hunting buddy in this area of the country who can show me how its done properly. ???

I am really keen to go beach hunting with you - but was hoping you could show me how its done properly :)

I will be back in Cape Town in May, I see we have more and more Cape Town people joining so perhaps we can get a group beach hunt going...

Word of advice..... never mention your collection..... It gets taken out of context and you get labeled a "hoarder" hahahahah
