Hi, I dont have a detector as of yet and have been shopping around and have now have a "information overload" - the Tecknetics Euro Pro  sounds as a good detector - I can offer you R2000 and can collect ASAP (I'm in Durbanville).

I have one and I used it again over the weekend. The earphones on the G2 in the sun is a bit of a mission when you start sweating.
I really love the eurotek, it's really a pick up and go convenience detector and it's well balanced for all applicaitons.
High tone coins, mid VCO for low conductors, buzz sound for iron and a VDI. The volume and sensitivity settings can be saved. Easy to give it a raincoat, no cables or knobs.

I have the euro and the G2, I don't think Id be able to choose what to sell if I had to. For the time being they are my tewls.
