Title: Noob from Pietermaritzburg
Post by: Paul van Heerden on January 06, 2014, 02:51 PM: Hi everyone. My name is Paul, and I purchased a Garrett Ace 250 for myself and one for my son-in-law as well. We have been doing a lot of beach hunting when we can (nothing interesting found yet), as well as hunting a few of the parks here in town.

The bug has definately bitten, and I am trying to use all my frre time to go out and detect. We are still taking the time to get used to our machines, and I think I am getting pretty good at it.

Anyhoo, I will be posting a thread or two about other topics in the relevant areas.

Don't be afraid to post your finds some days are good , some days are avarage and some days don't go so well but main thing is to have some fun and especially in your case to share the fun with your son.
