Title: Surf PI 1.2 board issues
Post by: brwmstr3 on April 26, 2018, 08:26 PM
Hello,

Built the Surf PI 1.2 board purchased from (Silverdog ?) UK. Followed the blog instructions and pictures on adrianandgenese.com blog.
I thought the project went well till I hooked up the power supply and all the correct pots and all I get is a solid tone that I cannot adjust up or down and I do not get a signal from my home-built coil, (30-wraps of 24awg speaker wire, sandwhiched between two rounds or 1/4" plexiglass).

After reviewing several other posts it seems every Surf PI board I see has different coded components. I'm guessing I have something in reverse just not sure what?

Attached are some pics of my board build. Please help me get this working right.

Regards,
Gerald Poss

my best suggestion is that you join up with - Geotech forum -  they have the most comprehensive amount of knowledge and expertise available and they are pretty helpful

Geotech was the first forum I tried and got no help. I'll give them another go and perhaps with the warmer weather more people are online.
