Hey All
I have found a Garrett ACE 250 for sale which I am thinking about buying.
What do You all think about the 250.
-
It is an excellent machine. I had mine for nearly two years before I upgraded to the AtPro. I loved it and found lots of stuff with it. You cannot go wrong buying one

Rock steady machines and very underrated ......... Only problem is that you have turned the sensitivity right down and notch out about a third of your range in wet beach sand./ Yet the guys are using them with great success.

They are not great on wet sand at the beach. They are fine on the dry sand

Excellent. Thanks Chaps. Come saturday I will be a happy chappy and own a Garrett ACE 250.

Hi Andrew, i own a Garrette Ace 250 as well. I have the machine for nearly 3 years now and use it alot and have found many nice things with it, and it has not given me a days problem at all. This is one little machine i will never sell.

I have finally got My 250 and took it for a swing and found My first Silver (as per finds post)
I see what You mean about the 250 not liking the wet beach sand.
continuously gives off false beeps. I dropped the sensitivity down to half as seen on a youtube vid
and found 2 R1 coins and a silver loop that must be a link from a chain.
I am a happy chappy.
