Had my first go with the etrac on the wet sand and into shallow water today....I was impressed with how stable it was...not even a murmer,no chirps and no confusion or 2nd guessing, out shines my AT Pro by a long way just wish it was waterproof!!....I can just imagine how well the CTX 3030 must perform!!

Nice going!! I did not know that benoni had any beaches :D

Hi Tony!
The performances of the e-track are well documented!
The best machine before the CTX came along.
The CTX...a shame it's so expensive, otherwise, I would have bought one a year ago!, and just out of curiosity, I would go over my parks again, just to see if there's something left after years detecting there with my old Musketeer Advantage!
All the best mate!

It's a great machine Alain....its not a simple machine and it has a long way to go to catch my old AT Pro, but it's up to the task on the beach and in wet sand....I just find that it is calm and more stable than the Garrett and I have confidence to find targets as the feedback is relaxed and calm!

The finds Tony, the finds!

Hey boet we just ain't shaping this trip....I've tried the upper beach mid beach, lower beach, different beaches...Hell!! ,I've searched everywhere but under the shark nets!!!....There is so much sand here that you get excited to hear a bottle top...The holes in the water that I have managed to find just have a thing in them!

The south coast has been sanded in now for as long as I can remember. It sucks. It is quite soul destroying when you have high hopes and the beach is totally silent. You know when your arm starts hurting from swinging that you are not digging enough holes :D
