Took a drive out to Dwarskersbos(crosscandlebush), 10km north of Velddrift, and covered a small really stony stretch of beach.
That was a real challenge getting the scoop into that lot. lots of wiggling and stomping needed.
The tides were not close to ideal but that didn't put me off.
Plenty hairpins and another tent peg, a R5 coin (whoo-hoo) and other coins and the cream of the crop....a ffffff gold plated heart shaped earring.
all - fun in the sun and an ice cold beer at home thereafter.
