Title: Headstamp Identification
Post by: Jaco Kriel on November 23, 2014, 08:05 PM
Hi to all. I dug out the casing this afternoon and Google is no help identifying it.  Should be ABW as all other casings in the area are from that era. Hi Jaco - if that is a .303 casing and that is a "G" and not a "C" then the "GKB" stamp is from George Kynoch, Birmingham, UNITED KINGDOM.

The markings on the head is GKB, but the casing is bigger than  the .303.
